What is Considered Componetry?
For roller blinds, the componentry includes the tube, brackets, bracket covers as well as any other smaller parts.
Roller Blind Systems
The roller blind tube and brackets are referred to as the system, as they are the key components. There are two roller blind systems available, the system used is dependent on the width and drop of the blind.
On larger blinds, Capture will increase bracket and tube sizes. Please note that if the bracket size changes Capture will match any adjacent blinds on the same window elevation in the same room.
The system changes size to handle the weight of the blind, the smaller systems may be more aesthetically pleasing, but they aren't able to hold the same weight as the larger system. If the wrong system size is used, it could cause 'V'ing in the fabric or the tube could bow with the weight.
The system sizing will be done per the manufacturer's recommendation, if you would like the specific sizing guide, please speak to your account manager.
SYSTEM 40:
38mm tube for blinds 300mm - 1979mm wide
38mm heavy-duty tube for blinds 1980mm - 2429mm wide
SYSTEM 45:
45mm tube for blinds 2430mm - 3000mm wide
Bracket & Mechanism Colour
Capture recommends matching the bracket and mechanism colour to the blind colour. Either black or white must be specified on the quote.
Base Bars
All roller blind base bars as standard are oval shaped. They are available in anodized aluminum, black or white.
Chain Length
Child Safety Devices
Child safety devices are required by law to be installed on all roller blind chains hanging below 1600mm from the floor. Chains above 1600mm are exempt. The chain must not form a loop exceeding 220mm in circumference. Capture will install the child safety device in the most secure position.
