Curtain Fullness

Fullness

Fullness refers to the amount of fabric that is used to cover the width of a window. Depending on how much flat fabric is covering the window will determine the way a fabric looks when it is gathered. The quantity of fabric that is used will determine the amount of fullness and pleats.

  • 1x, fullness would imply the fabric being flat and covering the window without any spare fabric.
  • 2x implies twice the amount of fabric being used to cover the window, meaning that there would be ‘extra’ fabric to cover the window that creates a fuller look.
