Mounting Positions
Mounting position refers to where the Roman blind is secured to on the window. There is only one option available for Roman blinds, Face fit.
Face Fitting
Roman blinds can only be mounted as Face fit. The below information refers to the recommended placement of a Roman blind on a window.
Capture recommends the below standard installation of Roman blinds:- 250mm above the top architrave
- 20mm past the outer edge of each side architrave
- Up to 40mm below the bottom architrave
- Insufficient space between the top of the window and the ceiling/cornice.
- Visual alignment of other objects in the room eg. shelving, AC units, and picture rails.
On the same elevation, Romans will be installed at the same height unless the height difference between the windows/ sliding doors is greater than 200mm.
Make a furnishing note in the app for any changes outside of the standard installation.
