Curtain Opening Directions

Opening Direction

The opening direction, also referred to as the stack side, is the side that the curtain sits when it is not covering the window.

Side Stack

This is the space a curtain occupies on the left or right side of your window when it is open. As a rule, assume the side stack is equal to a third of the curtain width. Please note that the curtain stack may protrude into the window opening.

Freeflow Curtains

There is also the option in the app to have your curtain as 'Free Flow'. Free flow means that the curtain is not attached to the track on either end, meaning it can be moved from end to end on the track. This option is ideal if the customer would like the flexibility to stack the curtain wherever needed. Free flow curtains can we ordered as 1 piece or 2 piece.

The curtain stack will take up the space of approximately 1/3rd of the total width when stacked.
