Quotes & Orders
In the Capture App, you will notice two tabs at the top of your screen, 'Quotes' and 'Orders'. Changing between the two will show you either your quotes or orders, depending on which page you're on.
Converting a Quote to an Order
When your customer has agreed to proceed with an order, click 'Save as Accepted'. This will show a pop-up outlining two options. Which are 'Order Later' or 'Order Now'.
Order Later
‘Order Later’ marks the quote as 'accepted' but does not send the order to the Capture team. Quotes marked as 'order later' will appear in the 'accepted' tab in your dashboard view.
Similar to 'Quotes' a follow-up date will be required for accepted quotes.
Once you are ready to send the order to the Capture team to process, follow the steps outlined below for 'Order Now'.
You can always revert a job from accepted to quoted but clicking 'save as quoted' this will remove the quote from your accepted field in the dashboard and revert it to the quoted tile in the dashboard.
Order Now
‘Order Now’ changes the quote to an order. By clicking 'Order now' it does send the order to the Capture team. This order will now appear in the 'Orders' tab.
From here, you will receive an email confirmation that Capture has received your order within a few minutes along with email updates on your order as it progresses.
Once a quote has been converted to an order, there is no way to revert it to a quote. Speak to your account manager if this is required.
