Roman Blind Styles

In the market, there are multiple types of Roman blinds, the most commonly purchased roman blinds are standard romans, they are also the only type that Capture offers through the app, if an alternative style is required, please contact your account manager.

Standard Romans

Flat fabric is used on the front with lining attached at the back with double-sided tape. Battens are placed into the back pockets in the lining and at the front folds. Suitable for solid plain and patterned fabrics. Not recommended for sheer fabrics.

Capture only offers the standard type of roman, but it is important to understand the options available in the market.

Soft Gather Roman

Gathered at the base, this style is suitable for solid and sheer fabrics, typically sheer fabrics are used as they work better for the soft gather. Vertical stitching is colour-matched in the middle and on both sides of the blind. The ‘finished from’ point is measured to the base fabric fold, rather than the base rail. Side turns/ side hems are standard at 100mm.
