Shutter Panel Configurations

Shutter Panels

The number of shutter panels is dependent upon the material selected and the overall width of the window.

Please note: Once you have entered the window width and drop into Capture, it will prompt you to select the number of panels.

The above diagrams demonstrated variations of panel layout options for a window of the same size.

  • Figure A is 2 panels in a L-DR configuration where the D-Mould is on the right panel.
  • Figure B is 4 panels in a L-DRTL-DR configuration.

The below are our configuration suggestions. Each of these is a selectable option in the Capture app. If you would like to customize the configuration, select Custom in the Layout drop-down and specify the desired configuration. Please note: The below variations can be flipped left or right.

Each panel can either be left or right, then after two panels a T post is required.

T-Post

Another way to configure multiple panels is to place a T-post between two panels. Rather than the panels closing into each other with a D-mould, they will close into (or away from) a T-post. This is especially handy if there is a vertical bar in the center of the window that the customer would prefer to hide. Please note: If you have more than two panels, you'll require at least one T-post.
